This is a tomb of Khan-e-Jahan Bahadur Jang Kokaltash. Daily thousands of people watch this tomb when they move there, but very, very few know what it is. I have been in Lahore for more than sixteen years, and hundreds of times I passed by this road. it came to my mind to see what it was, and at last I go and found a mausoleum. He is of the nobles of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir\u2019s period, and the name of that noble is Khan-e-Jahan Bahadur Zafar Jang Kokaltas\u2019h.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"4\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Sv8GojaZH7I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The mausoleum is octagonal in plan with high arches on each side and stands on an octagonal platform.<\/p>\n<p>Its 32\u2032 diameter dome, raised on a drum, is reminiscent more of the dome form utilized in the tomb of Anarkali than those of other nobles such as Ali Mardan Khan or Asaf Khan.
