I&#8217;m using Xcode 3.2.5 with iOS 4.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.6; When i complied that project I got the following error in multiple xib files<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pattern colors are not supported by the iPhone SDK for iOS versions prior to 3.0.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/AasimNaseem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/errorscreen.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"errorScreen;\" src=\"https:\/\/AasimNaseem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/errorscreen.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"384\" \/> <em>click to enlarge;<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong><!--more-->Reason of Error;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">The project was built and compiled with iOS 3.0, and will work fine\u00a0on sdk 3.2 and 2.2.1 but on sdk 4.0 it will throw that error;<br \/>\nThe deployment target for xib files was set to iOS 2.1.1 when you use ios3.0 or prior;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Solutions;<br \/>\n<\/strong>While working on iOS 4.0+ you must need to change the the <em>Deployment Target <\/em>in xib file to 3.0;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>How to do<\/strong> ;<br \/>\nOpen the .xib file in Interface Builder, then select\u00a0<em><strong>Window &gt;\u00a0Document Inf<\/strong><\/em>, select a later version of\u00a0<em><strong>Deployment Target<\/strong><\/em> OS version. see the Image below;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/AasimNaseem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/solutionscreen.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1920\" title=\"solutionScreen;\" src=\"https:\/\/AasimNaseem.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/solutionscreen.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"375\" \/>click to enlarge;<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Here the Deployment Target is set to iOS 2.1 and hence producing error;
