When the deer died, Jahangir was so sad that he decided to build this tall tower in its memory. So, Hiran Minar is actually a memorial for a deer! 🦌

Hiran Minar is more than just a tower. It’s part of a large and beautiful Mughal complex, which includes a 72-foot-high tower built over the grave of the deer and a huge water tank (pond) around the tower. It has a pavilion in the center of the water, where the emperor used to rest, connecting with a long brick ramps, which were used to bring animals to the water.

The Mughal royal family used Hiran Minar as a place to relax and enjoy hunting. There is a large water tank around the tower, about 750 feet wide on each side. In the middle of the tank, there is a small building (called a pavilion) that was once connected to the land by a bridge. The whole site shows how much the Mughals loved animals and nature. Today, Hiran Minar is a peaceful and popular spot for picnics and tourists.

Hiran Minar is not just a historical monument — it’s a place that tells a story of love, nature, and Mughal elegance.
