Love My Android Device; Aasim Naseem, January 23, 2011 | Read Count: 14,600May 19, 2025 Category: Digital Diary > Life Around Us8 months back I switched to an Android-based handset. As a daily user of Google’s products like Gmail, Google Docs, Calendar, Google Reader, GTalk, Picasa, etc., most of my work is directly and indirectly linked to Google. My Android phone helps me a lot doing my various tasks, keeps me updated, and syncs with my address book, my calendar, and my email. My Android handset, HTC Magic (MyTouch 3G) I prefer a centralized approach, like all your data should be accessible via one common place. Most of the time it happens that there are some contacts in your email account and some are present in the contacts list of your cell phone. You are using a calendar provided by your email server, but you also use ToDo list on your handset or a calendar placed at your desk and/or hanging on the wall. What if you lost your handset? A major part of your important contacts and other data may get lost in case you don’t have a recent backup. My Android device gets free from all such tensions and lets me experience my “centralized approach” theory, but how it makes this happen, I will tell you next time. I will talk about some applications from the Android Market that I use for my work. Be a Googler 🙂 Author Profile Aasim Naseem Hey, Thanks for your interest.
